Nathalie and Chiropractor Dr Thomas Dawson bought Health and Happiness in 2018 after it had operated at JLT for several years under a different ownership. Dr Thomas says now “we were optimistic that Dubai was ready for a different style of Chiropractic Office that focused on health and wellbeing rather than just musculoskeletal and biomechanical problems, we modelled the office on the successful Australian and Indonesian practices of mine and my older brother Anthony’s”.
Dr Thomas implemented firm procedures and Health & Happiness has became a multi-doctor office with Physiotherapists and Chiropractors working hand in hand, opening 7 days per week and specialising in 4 core activities, Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Decompression Therapy and Motion Stretch.
Health & Happiness expanded steadily, firstly growing to 3 separate office suites from the original 1 suite at the HDS Tower location in JLT then opening stand alone offices in building 64 at Dubai Healthcare City and at Arjan next to the Miracle Garden at Offices by Archetype. Currently, Health & Happiness employs 6 Chiropractors and 15 Physiotherapists between the 3 offices with a good mix of male and female Physiotherapists.
Health & Happiness approaches the 8th year of operation and there is a growing knowledge and awareness of Chiropractic and its health care benefits in Dubai, we deal with large numbers of people with problems as diverse as disc injuries, to head and neck pain, sports injuries and knee problems, our approach or philosophy is that everyone should check the function of their spine on a regular basis, we take care of our fitness, our eating habits, brush our teeth and have many other good habits that affect our health but we frequently ignore our spines and the effects that our lifestyles have on them.
Posture is but ONE of the many signs that your spine is not working properly, more people are learning that just because your spine doesn’t hurt doesn’t mean its working to its maximum potential, stiffness, loss of proper movement, fatigue, poor sleep patterns and headaches are just some of the things that could indicate that you need to look carefully at your spine, regular maintenance and attention to spinal health should be a regular part of your health care habits.
